From modest beginnings in the late sixties in a quiet Kirkwall street, its founder, Malcolm Gray, created a company which has grown steadily to become one of the UK's leading designers and manufacturers of gold and silver
jewellery.

Ortak Jewellery's success is based upon its early principles which are still held today - innovative design, caring craftsmanship, impeccable quality and real value for money. The traditional skills of the silversmith, handed down over decades, are still in use in our state of the art workshops. The manufacturing base remains in the island's capital, the Royal and Ancient Burgh of Kirkwall, producing beautiful jewellery which is sold and admired worldwide.
